Wajima Musuem of Urushi Art

Wajima Musuem of Urushi Art is the only museum in the world that specializes in lacquerwork.
It exhibits fine lacquerworks from in and outside of Japan, in addition to works by local Wajima-nuri artists.
The Museum also has an area where you can learn about lacquer and the process of lacquerwork.
