Furusato Miraikan

Furusato Miraikan stands in a beautiful, rural landscape surrounded by Shikamura no Tanada, which are considered one of Japan’s most beautiful rice terraces.
Here you can taste freshly ground, kneaded, and boiled handmade soba made from Mogami Wase, which is a local variety of buckwheat.
Furusato Miraikan also serves side dishes made from local produce, and these are very popular as well.
You can also try your hands at making yourself some soba noodles to eat here (soba-making trial requires reservation).
