Fuefuki Jinja Shrine

It is officially named "Katsuraki ni Imasu Hono Ikazuki Shrine."
It was the tutelary shrine of the 14 villages of the former Oshimi District.
Since it is also known as the god of music (Amanokaguyamahiko no Mikoto) performances using flutes and shakuhachi are dedicated on New Year's Day.
Quercus gliva, which has been designated as prefectural natural monument, grows in clusters in the surroundings, and there is also the Fuefuki Jinja Shrine ruins, which have been designated as a prefectural historic landmark of Nara Prefecture.
In addition, there is a Russian "siege cannon " to commemorate the Russo-Japanese War within the grounds of the hall of worship.
