Shidarekuri (Hang Down Chestnut) Forest Park

Within the Shidarekura Forest Park, there lies a “Hang Down Chestnut Habitat” which has been designated a National Natural Monument.
Hang Down Chestnuts are different from ordinary chestnut trees in that their branches hang down like an umbrella, which makes you feel the mystery of nature.
There are also campgrounds, bungalows, barbeque facilities, mallet golf, and putter golf fields located within the park.
Also, located nearby is the famous water spring “Irojiromizu” as well as the first road used to climb the mountain.
