Tobe Onsen Yutori-kan
The mild, weakly alkaline spring water of the Tobe Onsen is said to make the skin smooth and is locally known as the "hot water of beauty".
The bathhouse is located high up and overlooks a mountain village with a beautiful view of the colorful four seasons.
The 3-meter wide and 1.5-meter long ceramic mural in the bath is "Tobe Sarasa" designed by Shoji Kudo of the Shunju kiln, decorated with fish patterns and flowers.
The onsen also serves light snacks such as Nanaori Koume Udon noodles.
