From Higashimurayama to the entire country.
In 2017 (Heisei 29), the British, the originators of beer brewing, opened a new craft beer brewery in Higashimurayama.
The temperature control system, which is the key to beer brewing, was programmed by Michael, a brewer and a former systems engineer.
A popular beer of Distant Shores Brewing is also called “Konnichiwa, Michael desu!” (Hello, I am Michael!).
In the tasting room, which is open on weekends, you can enjoy fresh beer and are even allowed to bring in food. You can enjoy the aroma and exhilaration of fresh beer in a picnic mood.
It started selling bottles online in 2020 (Reiwa 2).
