This is the first Christian welfare facility for people with intellectual disabilities in Japan.
The piano that was regularly used by Fudeko Ishii, the wife of the founder, is the oldest imported upright piano that still exists in Japan and is called the Angel's Piano.
The Angel's Piano is located in the Holy Trinity Chapel and continues to make sounds from the Rokumeikan era. Both the piano and chapel have been designated by the City of Kunitachi as registered cultural properties.
