Kibo-no-Oka Noen (Hill-of-Hope Farm)
This 3 hectare site contains approximately 1,500 trees of 20 different varieties. The amount of cherries that are organically farmed here could feed about 10,000 people.
The average sugar content of a cherry is around 18-19 brix, but this farm proudly boasts super sweet cherries of 25 brix.
The farm also has approximately 10,000 blueberry plants, making them the single largest growers in the Kanto region, and this staggering scale is backed up by blueberries that are both thick and deliciously juicy.
For those that want to try both of these offerings, the farm also serves a special Bead Berry Ice Cream as a bonus for visitors.
