Tenjinsha Shrine

This historical shrine has many architectural features that exemplify the Muromachi period, with the main building built in the impressive architectural style of Ikken-Kasuga-zukuri, the roof made of durable thatched thick cedar planks, and decorations on the curved support on the main beam.
The commemorative plaque from the year 1578 has been preserved until now, and the main building as well as the 16 historic plaques until the year 1867 has been designated as the nation's Important Culture Properties.
