Soni Highland

From spring to summer, Soni Highland has a refreshing appearance that looks as if a green carpet has been laid all over.
Many tourists come visit during the autumn every year, as the flowering plumes of pampas grass take in the sun and sparkle in gold and silver.
In addition, there is a wetland called Okame-Ike in the center of Soni Highland, allowing you the opportunity to see rare plants that are unique to marshes.
In order to suppress the growth of plants other than pampas grass, there is controlled burning of the mountain every year from February to March.
