Goshogatani Kogo-ishi Ruins
This ancient mountain castle was constructed in the latter half of the 7th century. Its ruins are a nationally designated cultural asset.
Its stone mounds and earthen walls were built in the 3km surrounding the mountain summit. The masonry of the central gate that still exists today and stands at 7m in height is a sight to behold.
