Behind the main hall, there is a 200-step stairway that extends straight up, and you can see the shrine building when you get to the end of the steps.
From the top of that exhausting climb, you will see scenery that extends straight to the sea.
There is also an observatory adjacent to the shrine on the mountaintop.
From there you can get a panoramic view of the Omonai Plain and the Tsugaru Strait.
