Iwatsu Tenmangu Shrine

Iwatsu Tenmangu Shrine is dedicated to Sugawara no Michizane, who is widely known and revered as a god of learning.
Every year, from February to late March, the plum trees at the shrine all blossom, allowing visitors to view over 400 trees in full bloom, including red blossoms, white blossoms, and weeping plums.
