Umedakasuga jinja Shrine (Sarutahiko jinja Shrine)

It is said that Emperor Kameyama came to pray at the main hall here between 1264 to 1275 and transfer a divided tutelary deity to here from Mt. Mikasa.
Said main hall is made of wood shingle in a sangensha nagare-zukuri style.
In 1983, it was registered as a prefectural cultural asset together with Sarutahiko Shrine main hall (a subsidiary shrine within the main precinct).
