Miraikura

The origin of the blacksmith town in the area near the west exit of Koga Station goes back to the relocation of blacksmiths in the Edo period, and it prospered as a town of wholesalers after the Meiji period.
On the main street, Kajimachi-dori, traditional townhouses such as misegura storehouses, brick storehouses, and zashikigura storehouses still exist, and are referred to as the "Miraikura" of the urban development project.
The historical buildings have been restored and developed into a food community facility with locally produced food in a new warehouse.
