Sengando Suspended Bridge

Situated on the side of Mt. Kugami, a mountain most often associated with the monk Ryokan, this 124m long red suspension bridge connects Asahiyama Observatory to Gogoan.
Its name is taken from "Sengando Valley", which is where the bridge is located.
The bridge has a distance of about 35 meters down to the bottom of the valley, and the changing seasonal landscape features lush greenery, autumn leaves, and snow-covered backdrops.
In 1993 it was selected as one of the "50 Best Bridges in Niigata".
