Mitama hot spring is a day-use hot spring with a huge magnificent view of Minami Alps, Mt. Kitadake, Yatsugatake mountains, and the Kofu Basin.
In particular, the moment the view switches from the evening to a night view, it offers a truly magnificent view. It is the first hot spring facility in Japan to be recognized for both “100 best night view spots” and the "Japan Nightscape Heritage."
In Hot Springs General Election 2019 and 2020, it was chosen to be No.1 two years in a row in the magnificent view category. You can bathe while viewing such a beautiful night view.
The hot spring contains natural organic matter dissolved from ancient plants creating a transparent and dark brown alkaline simple spring.
