Eifuku-ji Temple
The Eifuku-ji Temple is said to have been built by Emperor Suiko to protect the tomb of Prince Shotoku.
At the end of the Warring States period, the temple was destroyed by fire under the command of Oda Nobunaga, but the sanctuary was later rebuilt by Toyotomi Hideyori and the temple reconstructed in the middle of the Edo period (1603-1868).
