Shinaga Jinja Shrine

The Shinaga Jinja Shrine is one of the oldest Shinto shrines in Japan, and is listed in the Enki Shiki, a set of rules compiled in the Heian period (794-1185).
The shrine was originally located on the top of Mount Futakami but was moved to Yamada in 1238.
