Kotoku-tenno-ryo Kofun
The Kotoku-tenno-ryo Kofun is the tomb of the 36th Emperor Kotoku.
It is a beautiful mausoleum 30m in diameter, located along Takeuchi Kaido Road.
In the Makuranososhi book of observations and musings recorded by Sei Shonagon during her time as court lady to Empress Consort Teishi during the 990s and early 1000s it is also called "Uguisu no mausoleum".
