Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine
This shrine was built in Daido 2 (807 AD) and is the starting point of the Mt. Fuji Subashiriguchi Trail.
As an important place for Mt. Fuji worship and transportation, the shrine is revered for its safety on the road, as well as for the divine virtues of its deity, Princess Konohanasakuya Himemei, such as matrimony, childbirth, easy delivery, and child rearing.
Rituals are also performed at the Komitake Shrine, the fifth station, the Tainai Shrine, the sixth station, and the Mukaekusushi Shrine, the ninth station, all of which are located along the Subashiriguchi Trail.
When Mt. Fuji was registered as a World Heritage Site in 2013 (Heisei 25), our company was included on the list as one of the 25 constituent assets.
