Honjoyama Park

Mount Honjo is a mountain that is 76 meters above sea level and is located on the south side of the confluence of Kakita River and Kano River.
During the Warring States period, Tokura Castle was built there, making use of the terrain.
From an observatory in an open space at the top of the mountain, a great 360-degree panoramic view, including that of Mount Fuji, spreads out before your very eyes.
In the middle of nature, from season to season, you can enjoy hiking the promenade that reaches the top of the mountain.
