Ripple Mark

The wave patterns formed on the seafloor approximately 30 to 40 million years ago were created by the accumulation of sediment, and have been uplifted by tectonic movements to their present position.
They are designated as a national natural monument due to their size (approximately 30 m high and 20 m wide).
