Tanigumisan Kegonji Temple

Tanigumisan Kegonji Temple is the final sacred site of the "Pilgrimage to the 33 Kannon Temples of Western Japan", which continues from the Kansai region, and is the temple of fulfillment.
In 2019, the "A journey through 1300 years of life in Japan -Pilgrimage to the 33 Kannon Temples of Western Japan-", including Tanikuzan Kegonji Temple, was designated as a Japan Heritage Site.
The approach to the temple is lined with restaurants, inns and souvenir shops and is popular with tourists for its beautiful tunnel of cherry blossoms, fresh greenery and autumn leaves.
