Ryokaisan Yokokuraji Temple

Ryokaisan Yokokuraji Temple was founded in 801.
This Temple is famous for its 22 statues of Buddha, which are designated as National Important Cultural Properties, and the mummy of Myoshin Shonin, a Buddhist priest who attained Buddhahood after fasting.
In autumn, the historic architecture and the red bridge with their autumn colours are a popular photo spot for tourists.
