Fujihashi-jo Castle and Nishimino Planetarium

The Fujibashi area is a great spot for stargazing and was ranked as the third best village for stargazing in Japan by the former Ministry of the Environment.
There is a planetarium in the shape of a castle, a reflecting telescope with an aperture of 60 cm, one of the largest in the prefecture, and an observatory where you can observe the sky day and night with a digital solar telescope.
On the same site, there are the Fujihashi History and Folklore Museum, where you can learn about the origins of the old Fujihashi village and the way of local life.
