Yamana jinja Shrine

The main deity is Susanoo-no-Mikoto.
It is a shrine that holds a summer holiday on the east bank of the Ota River to ward off epidemics, and is dedicated to the same god as Gion Shrine (Yasaka jinja Shrine) in Kyoto and Tsushima Shrine in Aichi prefecture.
In the Edo period, the shrine was called Gozu Tenno-sha, and in the Meiji period, it was officially called Yamana Shrine.
The locals affectionately call it Gion-sama of Iida or Otenno-sama.
