Ruins of Iida Castle

Iida Castle is the ruins of the castle where the third lord of Iida Castle, Michiyasu Yamauchi, lived on the east bank of the Ota River.
The castle consists of a donjon, a secondary enclosure, a north enclosure, and a moat, and is locally called the main castle.
The old castle was located in the precincts of Sushinji Temple to the north of the castle, and it is known that three generations, Yamauchi Michiyoshi, Hisatoshita and Michiyasu, held Iida.
