Hiyoshi Dam
The multipurpose Hiyoshi dam is one of the largest in the Kinki region, with a 2.74km2 lake 70 times the size of the Koshien stadium.
The first dam in Japan to be open to the local community allows visitors to tour the inside of the dam (Hiyoshi Dam information gallery).

Directly below the dam are hot springs, sports facilities, a camping ground, a BBQ area, shops, restaurants, and the complex "Springs Hiyoshi".
