Yanagawa Boat Tour
Yanagawa is a canal town with over 400 years of history. Enjoy a slow cruise through the city’s canals while taking in the scenery and being guided by one of the boatmen who skillfully guide their boats through the canals using a single pole. The sounds of the water and the willows gently swaying in the breeze makes the boat tour popular with tourists, including visitors from overseas.
There are seven boat tour companies located in the city:
Yanagawa Kanko Kaihatsu, Daito Enterprise, Suigo Yanagawa Kanko, Jomon Kanko, Yanagawa River Kanko, Hakushu Maru Kanko, and Marue Yusen.
