Nakayama Ofuji (Wisteria )
These famous wisteria trees reach their peak bloom every year in mid to late April.
They are said to have been planted using seeds from Osaka’s Noda Wisteria by a local sake brewer in the Edo Period.
The trees have been designated as a natural monument by Fukuoka Prefecture.
