Kako Oike Reservoir
This is the largest reservoir in area in Hyogo Prefecture, and is the third largest in the country after Kagawa Prefecture's Man'no-ike Reservoir and Osaka's Sayama-ike Reservoir.
Not only does Kako Oike Reservoir have useful applications for farming, but is also well known for its bird watching facilities, aquatic botanical garden, and ecology preservation systems.
It is also home to a sports and community friendly jogging course, public square, and management tower.
On weekends, some people also enjoy windsurfing across the large lake. It is a great place for local residents to relax and enjoy.
