Sakura Castle Park

While its buildings and gates were dismantled in the early Meiji period, the flat plateau west of the ruins of the Otemon gate has been preserved as a castle ruins park where you can get a sense of the past through its mizubori (water moat), kubori (dry moat), kuruwa (earthworks) and other remnants.
The park is known for its seasonal flowers (cherry blossoms, peonies, irises, plum blossoms) and its couples mokkoku trees and autumn leaves are also superb.
