Nento-Hiramatsu Pine Tree

The Nento-Hiramatsu Pine Tree is a Ryukyu pine that is about 300 years old.
With beautiful branches that spread out in the shape of a large parasol, this tree, together with the Five-Branched Pine of Kume Island, is referred to as one of the Two Great Pine Trees of Okinawa.
In March 2016, it was designated a National Natural Monument and is the symbol of Iheya Village.
