Fukuzen-ji Temple Taichoro

The Fukuzen-ji Temple Taichoro, VIP guest room, situated adjacent to the main hall of the temple was built around 1690.
Yi Bang-won, a Korean officer and member of the eighth mission of 1711, having stayed the night in the Taichoro, praised the view as “the most beautiful, picturesque scenery in the world east of Joseon” (written on a board hung on the wall inside the Taichoro Reception Hall)
The view of Senzujima and Bentenjima is indeed exceptional.
