Nikolai-do (Holy Resurrection Cathedral)

The "Nikolai-do", derived from Archbishop Nikolai who built the cathedral, bears the official name: "Tokyo Resurrection Cathedral of the Japanese Orthodox Church”.
Open to the public, this wonderful cathedral, 34.5 meters high, with a 37.7 meter bell tower, and a floor area of about 1,050 square meters, is a famous Ochanomizu landmark, and an important cultural property of Japan.

Transportation: 2 minute walk from the Seihashi exit of the Ochanomizu Station on the JR Sobu and Chuo Lines and the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line.

Charge: A donation of about 300 yen is requested for a tour of the sanctuary.
