Tokiwa-bashi Brdg.

The Tokiwa-bashi Brdg. is the oldest stone bridge in Tokyo, spanning the Nihonbashi River and leading from Tokiwa-bashi Park to the Bank of Japan side.
It is located on the site of the Tokiwa-bashi Gate, one of the Masugata Gates in Edo Castle.
The current stone bridge was built in 1877 using the same stones that were used to build the Masugata.
The Great East Japan Earthquake of 2011 distorted the stones of the bridge. Restoration was carried out, and the bridge reopened to traffic in May 2021.
