Joushin-in Hyakutai Kannon-do (Temple)

The highlight of the 33 Sacred Grounds of Kodama, and part of Japan's 3 Great Sazaedou Temples, along with Kyuushousouji Sansoudou in Aizu Wakamatsu, Fukushima, and Sogenji in Oota, Gunma.
It was built to memorialize the victims of the major volcanic eruption of Shinshuu Mount Asama in Tenmei 3 (1783).
It is built in a rare style, with corridors, two levels outside, and three levels inside.
Enshrined in the first level is the Chichibu 34 deity, the second Bando 33 deity, and the third is Saigoku 33.
