Weeping Cherry Trees in Nanzoin Temple【10 Scenic Spots in Itabashi】

The Weeping Cherry Trees in Nanzoin Temple of the Shingon sect of Buddhism, founded in the early Edo period (1603-1868), was used by the 8th Shogun, Tokugawa Yoshimune, during his falconry trips.
The weeping cherry trees, which bloom beautifully against the backdrop of the main hall and other buildings in the precinct, are amongst the most famous viewing spots in the ward.
