Masuhogaura Beach

This beautiful sandy beach dotted with pine trees is 4 km long.
From November through March, the early spring winds bring shells to the shore.
Poems of the traditional 36 Shellfish Poems Anthology such as sakura shells, nishiki shells, wasure shells, and olive shells wash up on the beach, and they are used in shellwork crafts.
On the beach there is a 460 meter long bench once listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the “longest bench in the world.”
