Itsutama Jinja Shrine

Serving as a place of study for monks, sitting on the Buddhist trail on Mt. Hiko and Mt. Homan.
It was named Itsutama (five balls) as there were five balls in the village of Tanigawa.
From ancient times it was known as a god of safe childbirth, and it's said that if you straddle on top of the ball you will be blessed with an easy childbirth.
Also, next to this is a water well which is said to turn white hair into black hair.
