The Wisteria in Ushijima

The Ushijima Wisteria is a special, long surviving tree deemed a national monument, and is more than 1,200 years old.
Its flower clusters can be as long as 2 meters.
In the 2 hectare garden, visitors can enjoy seeing wisteria of various sizes and colors, irises, azaleas, and some 500 year old pine trees.
