Former House of Toraou Takeuchi
This is the residence of Toraou Takeuchi, who invented and patented the Takeuchi power loom in order to create a quality loom that could be mass-produced.
Toraou Takeuchi founded the Takeuchi Cotton Factory in 1901.
He later developed it into the Maruto Weaving Mill and became one of the pioneers who laid the foundation for Okada to become a major production center of Chita cotton.
