Masayasutei (Former Okada Hospital) and Traditional Chita cotton Tsumonoki

This was built in 1929 as a residence with a clinic for Mr. Masayasu Takeuchi.
The main building, which is almost exactly as it was in those days, has a garden created by a tea master, a Japanese-style room surrounded by corridors on all sides, and a reception room decorated with plaster, which retain the atmosphere of the early Showa era.
After retiring as director of the Toyohashi Army Hospital (now the National Hospital Organization Toyohashi Medical Center), Masayasu opened the Okada Clinic.
He also served as president of the Chita County Medical Association and as an elementary school doctor, etc. He also devoted himself to memorial service for the war dead.
He continued to practice until his death in 1950, providing physical and mental support to the people of Okada.
It was registered as a National Tangible Cultural Property in 2015 and is now used as weaving experience workshops and rental rooms.
