Himeji City Museum of Literature

The Himeji City Museum of Literature is located northwest of Himeji Castle, and its unique design, made by world-famous architect Tadao Ando, adds new touches to the old townscape.
The exhibition facility, which consists of two buildings, the North Building and the South Building, introduces the history of Himeyama, where Himeji Castle stands, and the stories that have been born there.
All of them attempt to approach literature in a novel way that goes beyond the display of materials.
