Ioki Cave

Ioki Cave is a marine cave spanning 40m in which bedrock formed over 3 million years ago protruded into the sea and was eroded by waves.
Passing through the cave, you will find steep cliffs on your left and right, with over 40 kinds of inhabitant pteridophytes. Because it is extremely rare to find this many varieties of pteridophytes in one area, all are designated as protected species by Japan.
