Eitai Bridge
Eitai Bridge was built in 1698, about 100 meters more upstream from the current location. From the beginning, it was a large-scale bridge that enabled river transportation of large boats carrying people and items.
Ukiyo-e paintings depict how busy it was when it was first built.
The current bridge was inspired by the Ludendorffbrücke Railway Bridge in Germany and was built again in 1926.
