Kasama Inari Jinja Shrine
The kami enshrined here is Ukanomitama.
A god presiding over the roots of life, Ukanomitama is associated with the promotion of all new industry, including agriculture, aquaculture, manufacture, commerce, and more, watching over and blessing the lives of humanity by protecting that which sustains them.
Ukanomitama is often identified with Inari, the deity of rice, and as one of Japan's three major Inari shrines, Kasama Inari Shrine receives many visitors from all over the country each year.
