The Museum of Dawning of Modern Japan

A museum established in 1929 by Count Mitsuaki Tanaka, who was a patriot samurai at the end of the Edo period and later became the Imperial Household Minister.
Other than video and diorama reenactments of the people who supported Japan from the end of the Edo period to the Meiji period as well as its modernization, there are many exhibits of calligraphic works and paintings from that time, such as works by Tokugawa Yoshinobu-ko, the last shogun of the Edo shogunate.
In this manner, this museum allows visitors to experience the dawn of modern Japan.
