Remains of Ihinkaku Villa
This villa was built in 1698 by order of Mitsukuni Tokugawa, the second lord of the Mito domain.
The building was destroyed in a fire in 1864, and is now known as Minato Park.
Kuromatsu and Iwarenge trees that are over 300 years old grow here.
It is a city-designated historic site.
